Licence Agreement

The Education Company

Any products of The Education Company are under the ownership of The Education Company and are Copyright Protected. Any unauthorised use will be remedied under the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988 and subsequent related legislation.

Terms and Conditions of Use

  1. Upon purchase of any The Education Company products the purchaser hereby agrees to the following Terms and Conditions;
  2. this licence agreement constitutes a legal contract between The Education Company and the purchaser
  3. the Site Licence is for a single school (unless otherwise agreed in writing) and is a site Licence only
  4. the licence incorporates permission to use products as part of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) on the purchasers server only

Permitted Use

  1. the site licence permits the copying of material onto a medium which is physically located within the school. It may be loaded onto the purchaser's network system.
  2. VLE users are permitted to use the product off site if they are bona fide members of the school

Prohibited Use

  1. it is not permitted for individuals to use the material at another educational institution unless that institution has purchased the physical product and associated licence.

The purchaser may not sell, lease, rent or transfer the product to any third party via any medium.
